Our journey began with the visionary Shri Khimji Dayabhai, whose unparalleled skill and dedication led to the establishment of the first Khimji Jewellers outlet in Baripada in 1936. Serving as the royal jeweller to Maharani Takat Kumari Devi of Mayurbhanj, Shri Khimji Dayabhai's artistry laid the foundation for a brand that would evolve and thrive over the years.
Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Dinesh Khimji, the current Chairman, and Mr. Kishore Khimji, the Managing Director, Khimji Jewellers has not only preserved its heritage but also embraced innovation. The brand shifted its base to Bhubaneshwar in 1984, marking a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory.
In the late 1990s, the torch was passed to the next generation, led by Mr. Mitesh Khimji and Mr. Sumeet Khimji. Recognizing the need for expansion and modernization, they ushered in a new era by incorporating data analytics and process-driven systems. This transformation propelled Khimji Jewellers from a family-owned business to a professionally managed entity, setting the stage for sustained success.
Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic in 2019, Khimji Jewellers exhibited remarkable resilience. By 2022-23, with a strategic management team in place, the brand embarked on an expansion journey, opening stores in Puri and Soubhagya Nagar. To better understand and cater to our customers' evolving needs, an independent call center was established, fostering customer loyalty and paving the way for a digital and social media presence.
